About Brussels

From: Carmen Tejero

Hi Elisabeth,
How are you? I've talked to your mother this morning and she told me you have found a fantastic work as a Portuguese interpreter in  the European Comission in Brussels. Congratulations! You have achieved your dream by you effort and you are really lucky to work there.
My sister has lived in the city centre of Brussels for  one year. Shall you have her phone number? She would tell you how to find a house, where to buy anything or what you need to. I have just talked to my sister on the phone and she wants to help you. If you have any doubts you can contact my sister to solve your problems.
Are you still living in the hotel?. Are your workmates nice?. Are people afraid of terrorists attacks?. Have you tasted the mussels?
I'm arriving in Brussels next month to visit my sister and you. Besides, I'm going to visit Bruges and Ghent.
I'm looking forward to seeing you soon.
Kisses.
Carmen

About London

From: Teresa Cerezo

Hi Criss,

How are you? How is life in London? I hope you are well.
Sorry for not writing earlier but I have been really busy these days.

Did I tell you? I will probably move to London.
You won't believe this, but I did a job interview past Monday and If they have call me to offer the job, we will live in the same city. What an amazing coincidence! Don't you think so?

I know you have just moved to London so I would like you tell me about London

What is the weather like in London? Everyone says that it's horrible! A lot of people have warned me about this!

How much is the lease for your flat? I think that London is more expensive than other cities, so I'm afraid that I will pay more money for the lease than Spain

What about the public transport? How long does it take you to get to work?
What kind of  social and cultural activities does the city offer? It's very important and you know how much it means for me!
I can't wait to discover the whole city and its surroundings!

I hope you reply my questions and why don't you attach me some photos of the city?

A lot of kisses.
Teresa

Dear Phil and Julie,
How are you? I’m fine and I’m happy to be in contact with you again.
To where country have you moved? Do You like that country? What places or centers could be interesting?

Surely it must have been a difficult decision to choose that country. What reasons have you had to move to that country? ¿What brings beneficial things that country?  Are a sociable people in that country?

Speaking about work, how does work situation working there?

I guess the food must be delicious for those places, isn’t it? What typical food is there? What kind of fruit is consumed there?

I wish and hope you have much success.

See you soon,
José Manuel

Australia

From: Rafael

Dear Phil and Julie.

How are you?. I saw Paul last weekend and he told me that you've just moved to Australia. I'm happy about that. As you know, I'm very interested in that country and I've a lot of question, such as, could you find easily a flat to rent?. Everyone says that Australia is very expensive. Are there many people of different nationalities?. How is the weather like in Australia at the moment?. Anyway, it's a great place to live.
I've never been to Australia and, at the same time, I'd like to visit you, however, I can't afford it, but, if I stay in your house it'll be cheaper. Could that be possible?. Besides, if we were together we could spend a great week.

I'm looking forward to hearing soon from you.

Dear Anne

From: Maite Risueño

Dear Anne:

I have just found out that you have return to your country because you haven't  found  a job in Spain. It's a shame because you were very happy here and integrate in our culture.
But now in the Philippines, how is your family, and your friends there? I know your father was ill, is he better now? I thing he will be very happy with his daughter near him.
I hope early you will find a job in your country and you will obtain your dreams. It is sure that in a future you are going to return here and you will meet again all your friends.
Perhaps next summer we will fly to the Philippines, we will visit you and you will show us your town and all the places near you.

I'm looking forward to hearing soon from you.
